Season 13 Ending!

Season 13 will end on the following dates:

• North America: Sunday, June 3 @ 5:00 p.m. PDT 
• Europe: Sunday, June 3 @ 5:00 p.m. CET
• Asia: Sunday, June 3 @ 5:00 p.m. KST

Season 14 will begin about two weeks afterward on the dates below:

• North America: Friday, June 15 @ 5:00 p.m. PDT 
• Europe: Friday, June 15 @ 5:00 p.m. CET
• Asia: Friday, June 15 @ 5:00 p.m. KST

Farming

What am I up to today? Playing World of Warcraft for now! I'm working on getting all my level 100s to have their Pandaria gardens so that I can grow Motes of Harmony. Once I have that, I'll get as many as I can to transmute ghost iron to living steel so I can finally make the Sky Golem and 4 Panther mounts to get the Onyx Panther!

So quite literally farming some things right now. ^^

Azez Notes

Hey guys! So I've had a lot of questions come in about my Pathfinder character, Azez the white tiefling witch.

A lot of you have asked about her or what her story is and I finally decided to make a post of my notes I sent my GM. ^^

Azez is saving money for her mentor, a female witch who took in the Tiefling after her rejection from the cleric-school (clergy?), teaching her different ways to be close to the gods as well as the arts of magic. This witch's patron is (unknown to Azez but known to the older witch) Deception. She purposefully deceives Azez because she needs money (either to buy a political vote, an assassination, whatever), so she fully intends to take all that money her apprentice saved. She's using the cast-out Tiefling as just another set of hands, a pawn, but to what end is unknown.

At some point Azez finds out about this massive betrayal & [hopefully] is able to fight her mentor, because what this old biddy didn't count on was a fucking gargoyle barbarian & a sniper rogue.

Azez also has flannel/fleece onesie pajamas with the butt flap for her tail, but those are for private home use, I figure maybe she has a room over the tavern or something where she works part-time.

She has no clue who her parents are, not even which is the demon or human, which could be due to a Modify Memory spell?

So yes: Tiefling wanted to be a cleric, was turned away because she's a Tiefling, so she was taken in by a witch and studied with her instead.

All of this was approved by my GM who appreciated the creativity my husband and I were taking with our characters. :3

What do you think? Feel free to let me know! I was thinking of White-Haired Witch archetype maybe, but we only made it to level 3 before our GM had to cancel our sessions due to burnout. :(

This is probably one of the first times I didn't start my husband's character after the announcement of the end of the season, lol. So thankfully I don't have a rushed timeline. :)

Here's hoping I can finish the season before the end date is announced? XD

Hello there! I’m Morwyn, the admin of Midnight Grind. I’m a homemaker with a passion for games and sometimes a little too much free time.

On October 20th, 2016, I started up Midnight Grind over on Blogspot, just a little blog to catalog my gaming experiences, achievements, and trinkets.

On the other hand, my husband has little time to himself and thus can’t keep up with some of the games we play together, like Diablo 3 or World of Warcraft to name a couple. So I decided, as a surprise/gift, that I’d play on his account to try and earn him some equipment/achievements/whatever. ^^

It may not be a lot, but I know he’ll be happy when he sees all the nifty things he has now. I know it’s mostly Diablo 3, but World of Warcraft is a little more difficult seeing as how he doesn’t have an active subscription at the moment, haha.

So I guess that makes this a Diablo 3 farming/grinding blog? But wait! We also play Pathfinder together with two other people and my best friend GMs for us. I do my best to catalog our shenanigans – which, believe me, is difficult – and it’s rather slow going right now, but I’m sure it’ll pick up soon once we all get comfortable with each other. ^^
