Shifty Situation

Remember, *Don’t* Walk on the Left Side (or the Right)

"This trap is for all those adventurers that want to circumvent your carefully crafted obstacles.

The players enter a large room, with another door on the opposite the one they entered. Large metal spheres bounce up and down in the middle of the room, in a line from door to door. They are spaced out evenly, about 10 feet apart.

The floor of the room is in its own gravity field. Once in the room, gravity is relative to the floor. However, this is not the case underneath the floor. The floor itself sits balanced on a long beam, straight down the center, from door to door. If a character, or other weight, is placed anywhere other than down the centerline, the floor will shift. The further out the weight is put, the more the floor will shift. At the edges, it will shift a full 90 degrees. While this won’t affect a character on the floor too much, it will affect other characters entering or exiting the room, and more importantly, it will affect the metal spheres. The metal spheres will hit the walls and ceilings and bounce all over the floor, creating a deadly hailstorm of metal, and also causing the floor to rotate wildly."
